Google Earth Version 3.0.0 for iPad Available

Google Earth iPadGoogle Earth has been recently updated to version 3.0.0 and released into the iPad App Store. The app is available for free as usual and should work will all iOS platforms in iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

With multi-touch and large screen of iPad, it’s fun using Google earth to explore the world. I have also used it for local driving directions and the good thing I have found out about it is, Google Earth storing the required data in the local catch and you can use it on Wi-Fi only iPads for getting the driving directions while on the road.

The app shows hi resolution images in iPad with the it uses the native iPad popover menus to let you access the settings and layers. It provides the same global satellite and aerial imagery available in the desktop version of Google Earth, including high-resolution imagery for over half of the world’s population and a third of the world’s land mass.
